I really love it when I can create healthier versions of my favorite sweets. These Fig and Walnut Oatmeal Squares are made with whole wheat flour, sweetened with brown sugar and dried figs and spiced with cinnamon and cloves. Adding walnuts to this bar adds fiber, protein and heart-healthy Omega-3 fatty acids. I think you’ll find they are a tasty and satisfying healthy snack!
